Getting Around from the Broadway Park Neighborhood

The Broadway Park Neighborhood sits between downtown and Edmond, which shapes most daily routes.

Roads and Getting Here

Summit Ridge Drive feeds the Broadway Extension frontage road, which carries US Route 77 south toward Interstate 235 and downtown. Northwest, the John Kilpatrick Turnpike links Memorial Road to Interstate 35. OKC Will Rogers International Airport sits on the far southwest side of the metro.

Nearby Employers

McBride Orthopedic Hospital, a 68-bed specialty hospital at 9600 Broadway Extension, is the closest large employer, just south along the Broadway Extension. Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City and INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center each sit several miles out in opposite directions. Paycom, headquartered in Oklahoma City with roughly 5,800 employees, sits west northwest on West Memorial Road. Oklahoma Christian University lies northeast and the University of Central Oklahoma further north northeast, both in Edmond rather than Oklahoma City.

Dining and Entertainment

Chisholm Creek, a 190-acre mixed-use district on West Memorial Road, lies a few miles northwest and holds Topgolf, iFLY Indoor Skydiving, Cabela's, and lakeside restaurants. Quail Springs Mall sits a little further northwest. Frontier City sits due east off Interstate 35.

Parks and Recreation

Lake Hefner lies west of the community, with a shoreline trail loop popular for running and cycling. Bluff Creek Park north of the lake adds a short, paved loop plus a longer unpaved singletrack network run by the Oklahoma Mountain Bike Association. Martin Park Nature Center sits further west-northwest on West Memorial Road.
